Community Announcement: Monday, February 16th at 12:00 PM Pacific / 3:00 PM Eastern our Engineers will be restarting a handful of sectors in There.com. During this restart, any real estate Zones including Neighborhoods, Lots, PAZs, FunZones, FrontierZones and ThereHouses may temporarily experience what the community fondly calls a “Therequake.” Decorative objects may appear to disappear when the sectors restart. Please don’t worry, your items are still there. Your decorations will not be deleted and they will not be returned to your My Things inventory. In most cases, decorations will automatically reappear within about an hour and no action is required on your part. Affected Sectors The following sectors will be restarted: 5–8, 13–16, 21–24, 25–28 How to Check Your Zone’s Sector You can find out which sector your real estate Zone is located in by: Standing inside your Zone Pressing Ctrl + Shift + H Looking for iHost (number) in the small grey info box For example, if you see iHost 6, your Zone is in Sector 6, which will be affected by this restart. Save Your Layout (Highly Recommended) As a precaution, we strongly encourage all real estate owners to save their Zone layout ahead of time. To save your layout: Enter your real estate Zone Go to This Place > Layout Options > Save Layout. Then name the layout and click save. This will save the positions of all dropped items in your Zone, just in case you need it later. Helpful Tips Decorations usually reappear on their own within an hour A community-discovered workaround that may help items appear sooner is to update your Zone’s title or description on the zone information page and click Update This workaround is not guaranteed, but has helped some members in the past If items have not reappeared after an hour or so, you can try loading your saved layout If your Zone décor does not return after trying the above steps, please contact our team at feedback@thereinc.com so we can assist you.
